Lloyd Slams Opponents' False Claims

Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner David Lloyd has attacked opponents for false claims about police station closures.  PCC Lloyd said, “I have made sure that local policing has been saved in Hertfordshire and included a provision in the Police and Crime plan which guarantees that all ten districts and boroughs in the county will retain their own police team and at least one major station.  We have 18 operational police stations in Hertfordshire today and for my UKIP opponent to say we have only 4 is either sheer ignorance or a deliberate attempt to mislead or alarm the public. And now my Labour opponent has got in on the act too by claiming “we no longer have a police station in St Albans”.  He clearly hasn’t caught up with fact we opened a brand new station only last year or even read about it in his local paper”
